Description: Native, warm-season, erect or spreading annual, or short-lived perennial, legume to 60 cm tall. Stems are hairy, grey-green to whitish. Leaves are simple, linear to narrow-lanceolate, 15–50 mm long and 1.5–3 mm wide; stipules are linear and 3–4 mm long. Flowerheads up to 1 cm long. Calyx white-hairy, the teeth much longer than the tube. Petals are dark pink to red. Pods are globose, 2–3 mm long and white-tomentose. Flowering is in summer. Date: 22 January 2008, 13:07.
