Summary[edit] Description: English: Male and female Florida fairy shrimp, Dexteria floridana. Originally found in a pool near Gainesville, Florida in 1953 by Ralph Dexter. Was officially declared extinct when it was noted that the only pool containing the entire population was destroyed for construction work. Date: 11 May 2020, 13:45:25. Source: Own work.
