Summary[edit] Description: Tropical Rat Snake (Elaphe flavirufa) Merida, Yucatan, Mexico Found this snake at around 6:10 pm. Temperature was around 27-30 C This was a very uncooperative snake! It was quite long and therefore hard to photograph. I tried for a while, but decided to stop bothering it, as it seemed quite frustrated!. Date: 9 December 2009, 07:09. Source: Elaphe flavirufa.
