Summary[edit] Description: On April 23, 2012, Project Manager for the Western Salt Pond Restoration Project discovered these naturally recruiting Salicornia pacifica (Pickleweed) plants in Pond 10! It's great to see natural recruitment take place now that Pond 10 has been exposed to the fluctuating tides every day since August of 2011. Go pickleweed! (Kurt Roblek/USFWS).
