Summary[edit] Description: English: Orange peel fungus (Aleuria aurantia) This fungus usually starts off cuplike but curls around to resemble a twist of orange peel, or even an ear, as it develops. It is often found in winter on a bare earth surface such as a newly-made path - in this case on a recently-grown lawn. It is said to be edible. Date: 1 November 2006. Source: From geograph.org.uk.
