Wood duck eclipse
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: This is a male Wood Duck in eclipse plumage. I took this picture myself on July 15, 2006 in Audubon Park, New Orleans, Louisiana. There is a substantial population of Wood Ducks there, and they are accustomed to constant human presence, so they are not shy. Aix sponsa, Male, eclipse plumage. Date: 15 July 2006.
