Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Aloe maculata (=A.saponaria) is a low-growing species that propagates by suckers and to some extent by seed and with encouragement it forms a useful ground cover in arid regions. Its leaves are handsomely spotted, so it is attractive even when not in flower, but produces a fine show for several weeks in summer. Pollinators, both birds and insects visit it avidly for both nectar and pollen. Date: 8 February 2013, 09:44:34. Source: Own work. Author: JonRichfield.
