Description:
Description: Bog Fritillary (Boloria eunomia) I am confident that I have identified the right species based on the presence of a row of silvery dots on the underwing (not seen in this photo). It flies from May to August and true to its name, loves damp boggy places. My experience was in a swampy area in Preservation Park where I was surrounded by several butterflies all at once and it was quite dazzling. youtu.be/s3CK4KvgQ94. Date: 27 May 2013, 18:56.
