Summary[edit] Description: English: Crested Coral Fungus (Clavulina coralloides) [Clavulina cristata is an older synonym for this species.] A patch of Jellybaby Fungus was growing at the same location, as shown here: 920234. Like the "jellybabies", the Crested Coral was growing in a patch covering many square metres. It is seen in late summer to autumn, and prefers soil in woodland; there is a dense clump of trees at this spot, just north of the beginning of the footpath up to Whinny Hill Woodland.
