Description: Celery Fly (Euleia heraclei) photographed on 22 April in my garden (Ipswich, VC25 East Suffolk, TM166450). These are leaf-miners of umbelliferous plants and a pest of celery. There are 4 previous observations of this species in East Suffolk on the NBN Gateway. ID confirmed by expert Dr Valery A.
