Description:
Rhipsalis hoelleri is the only red-flowering member of the genus Rhipsalis (Cactaceae). The epiphyte is native to the Brazilian Mata Atlantica in the state Espirito Santo. Foto of the type collection at the Botanical Gardens Bonn, which was described in 1995 by W. Barthlott and N. P. Taylor and named after the responsible horticulturist Werner Höller
