Summary[edit] Description: English: Photograph of the w:Lakeview Wildlife Management Area marker sign on top of a sandy foredune immediately adjacent to the eastern shore of w:Lake Ontario in w:New York State. The flora is typical of the "foredunes" (the low dune closest to the beach) in this region: American beachgrass in the foreground, and eastern cottonwood trees along the crest. Date: 31 August 2008.
