Summary[edit] Description: English: Distinctive by the structure of the long-stem, the S. arnoldianum plant usually grows vertically and reaches over 2 meters in height. Prefers forest edge and humid conditions. An important part of central African, especially Congo cuisine. One of the species harvested for leaves used to wrap food for cooking popular recipes of 'chikwangue' (cassava bread) and 'liboke'. Alternate name: Megaphrynium macrostachyum. Date: 1 November 2015.
