Summary[edit] Description: English: Long-stemmed S.arnoldianum held in the right hand as compared to a similar leaf plant held in the left hand found in the same zone. Distinctive by the structure of the long-stem, the S. arnoldianum plant grows vertically and reaches over 2 meters in height. Prefers forest edge and humid conditions. An important part of central African, especially Congo cuisine. Proper identification is important as it is one of several species of leaves used to wrap food for cooking popular recipes such as 'chikwangue' (cassava bread) and 'liboke'.
