Summary[edit] Description: Flowerheads are a narrow primary axis of racemes (4-20 cm long); with the racemes pressed against the main stem. Spikelets are 2.5-3.8 mm long, oblong, unawned and 2-flowered; with a hairy fertile floret which is shorter than the upper glume and lower lemma by up to 1 mm. Date: 1 February 2005, 12:21.
