Description: Flowerheads are loosely contracted panicles, linear-lanceolate to lanceolate in outline, rarely ovate and usually with 10–30 or more spikelets; the flowerheads are sometimes tardily and shortly exerted, or much exerted from the upper leaf sheath. This specimen was identified as R. setaceum by RBGSYD, but florets are 4 mm long and glumes to 14.7 mm long, both of which align with R. caespitosum. Date: 14 November 2012, 07:02.
