Description:

Summary[edit] Description: Shaggy fleabane is common on Wild Horse Island along with Erigeron caespitosus, tufted fleabane. The latter was not much in flower at the time shaggy fleabane was in abundant flower. Shaggy fleabane has conspicuous hirsute hairy stems and leaves (which render the common name). The hairs of tufted fleabane are dense and appressed (somewhat velvety in texture and appearance). Date: 12 June 2020, 09:39. Source: Erigeron pumilus - shaggy fleabane.
