Summary[edit] Description: English: Several arrays of flower-heads comprise the capitulesence of a stiff-leaved goldenrod (Solidago rigida) plant. The phyllaries were hairy, and the plant was well over 1 m tall, suggesting that it belonged to subspecies rigida. This plant was photographed on 9/5/19, in a natural occurrence in a limestone meadow in Centre Co., Pennsylvania, USA. Date: 5 September 2019, 17:20:08. Source: Own work. Author: Daniel McClosky.
