Summary[edit] Description: English: Anchusa capensis, flowers visited by an African honey bee (Apis mellifera scutellata). The flowers display pollination signaling; in viable flowers the five hairy scales in the centre are white, whereas in those beyond the end of their sexual viability the scales turn to brown.
