Butterfly in a glass jar 1
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: A butterfly, small tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae), in a glass jar in Tuntorp, Brastad, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. Many of these butterflies have found their way into my apartment this summer. I’ve used my largest vase as a safe way to catch and return them to the wild outside. I kept this one in the vase for a few minutes so I could photograph it, before letting it flutter away into the trees. No butterflies were harmed during this short photo session. The vase is placed on a kitchen sink. Date: 26 July 2021, 22:01:09. Source: Own work. Author: W.carter.
