Summary[edit] Description: Wolf spider, Hogna frondicola. Photograph by Patrick Edwin Moran, September 2005 in central North Carolina, U.S.A. Length of body is approximately 16 mm. Based on Brady, A.R. (2012), "Nearctic species of the new genus Tigrosa (Araneae: Lycosidae)", Journal of Arachnology 40, 182-208, this is more likely to be a species of Tigrosa, e.g. T. helluo.
