Hydra Column and GVC
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: The column of this Hydra shows the GVC (gastrovascular cavity or coelenteron) as the lighter, less dense region in the centre. You can distinguish the gastroderm in the denser areas along the interior edge. One can just distinguish the profile of the hypostome on the oral disk. Date: 11 February 2013, 15:08:31.
