Description: Pluteus exilis Singer Image location: Annadel State Park, Sonoma Co., Santa Rosa, California, USA Caps up to 12.0 cm across. Stipes with significant patches of blackish-brown fibers. Spores ~ 6.9-8.1(9.0) X 5.1-6.2 microns, ellipsoid, and smooth. Cheilocystidia club shaped. Pleurocystidia ~ 60-75 X 18-21 microns, bottle shaped, thick walled and horned.
