Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Golden-ringed Dragonfly (Cordulegaster boltonii) by the Roadside. On a very hot and dry day, near the end of a long walk, I thought it not unreasonable to kneel down and splash some water on my face from a small waterfall spilling into a culvert at the side of the track. When I got down there I realised someone else already had the same idea. I had already made one or two attempts to photograph one of these but they just wouldn't stay still long enough. This one had no issues with photographers whatsoever. Date: 1 July 2006. Source: From geograph.org.uk. Author: Steve Partridge.
