Description:

Summary[edit] Description: Skylark (Alauda arvensis), Heartwood Forest, Sandridge, Hertfordshire, 16 June 2013. I've seen and heard Skylarks many, many times in flight, but usually when they're on the ground, I don't see them at all. I wondered if, on this day, when I could hear lots of them, that if I went slowly and scanned the tops of the grass and tree saplings, I might see one. And I did, though it was quite distant. I took a few shots and this was the best one. To see my collections, go here: www.flickr.com/photos/anemoneprojectors/collections/. Date: 16 June 2013, 16:19. Source: Skylark (Alauda arvensis).
