Stunning Rothmannia macrophylla flowers with Aceh tropical rainforest background
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: This beautiful and rare flowers has whitish color with a purple stripes inside of its crown and has the Latin name, Rothmannia macrophylla from Rubiaceae family (in Plant World) blooming beautifully in Gunung Leuser National Park. The Rothmannia macrophylla plant is endemic to the tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia (Sumatra), Malaysia, and Singapore. I am very lucky to find this flower in full bloom in Gunung Leuser National Park, Aceh because in its habitat in Gunung Leuser National Park Aceh this flower is increasingly rare and difficult to find and is threatened with extinction due to forest clearing and massive illegal logging.
