This plant is a leaf less twiner,stems filiform -3mm thick where attached to the host, Flowers 3mm across on 1-2 cm long spikes; bracteoles 3, perianth lobes 6, outer 3 smaller, stamens 6 very slender, ovary globose, fruit a drupe; A gregarious stem parasite on shrubs.
