Image of Caryophyllales

Description:

Summary[edit] Description: Rumex acetosella, with the reddish inflorescences, is common along roads in Grand Teton National Park and is absent from adjacent high-native-plant-cover sagebrush steppe. Plant species from the sagebrush steppe (e.g., Lupinus argenteus and Eriogonum umbellatum in this photo) have an easier time invading adjacent roadsides than do roadside plants invading adjacent high-native-cover sagebrush steppe.
