Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Great Blue Heron at Earl Brown Park in DeLand, Florida. A fish swam into a water filled plastic bag in the pond. The fish's movement in the bag caught the heron's eye and in a flash it speared the fish with it's bill. I was across the water from the heron when this happened. I made my way around the curve of the pond to see what, if anything, I could do about this aweful situation. Date: 4 April 2010, 12:18. Source: Great Blue Heron Swallows Fish in Plastic Bag!.
