Dittrichia viscosa and Heterotheca subaxillaris
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Camphorweed (Heterotheca subaxillaris on the left), growing next to false yellowhead (Dittrichia viscosa - on the right). The false yellowhead is a native plant of Israel called טיון דביק; the Camphorweed is an invasive species in Israel whose genus Hebrew name (טיונית) was chosed because of the plant's similarity to the native plant. The plant on the left is Verbesina encelioides, not Heterotheca subaxillaris. Date: 16 October 2007. Source: Own work. Author: Rickjpelleg.
