Rhodoleia championii HK 1
Description:
Description: Not the best photo of this plant, but they say it is one of the most beautiful flowering trees. Rare in cultivation this tall shrub will be covered in these enchanting bright pink flowers in spring. It could be 6m tall tree in its habitat Hong Kong and China. The flowers do resemble rhododendron, but they are not related. In fact it is Hamamelidaceae family plant, so, surprisingly, it is related to Hamamelis (witch-hazel, ведьмин орех) The plant is found and photographed in Brisbane garden shop (plant nursery "GardenWay"), Australia.
