Chusquea quila (3162863061)
Description:
Description: Chusquea quila Kunth. 20081222 Parque Nacional Puyehue, Chile This picture shows the "unusual" solid culms. Note the thickness of the fresh culm -- this is about an inch or more in diameter. When fresh like this it snaps in two with ease. After it ages a bit it becomes solid as, well, wood. Date: 24 December 2007, 15:44. Source: Chusquea quila Uploaded by Amada44. Author: Jason Hollinger.
