Description: English: Group of calling males of the Moor frog (Rana arvalis) in the reeds of a pond. Only at the climax of the spawning season in spring the males of this species appear blue-dyed for a few days. (In the middle possibly three or four Common frogs are in between.) Deutsch: Kollektiv von rufenden Männchen des Moorfrosches (Rana arvalis) im Schilfröhricht eines Weihers in der Elbtalaue. Nur während der Hochphase der Laichzeit erscheinen die Männchen dieser Art für wenige Tage blau gefärbt. (In der Bildmitte haben sich evtl. drei oder vier Grasfrösche dazwischen gemogelt.).
