Summary[edit] Description: English: Hatchling orange ghost morph ball python. This is a form of hypomelanism, and the morph may also be known as 'hypo'. This is a recessive gene. Orange ghost ball pythons appear 'frosted', as though they are going into shed, as their normal coloration. When they shed, the shed skin is clear and has no patterns on it. Date: 1 December 2011.
