Summary[edit] Description: Amparoina spinosissima ((Singer) Singer) Location: Kaipara harbour, Auckland, New Zealand. Notes: Fruiting directly from living tree fern trunk(Cyathea dealbata) about one meter above ground level.To my knowledge there are no records of this mushroom in New Zealand and it may be an undescribed Mycena species.Pileus: no more than 6mm in diameter.
