Summary[edit] Description: straggling mariposa, Calochortus flexuosus, Nevada, Meadow Valley, Bennett Springs Wash, Chief Range drainage, elevation 1455 m (4780 ft). All of the flowers in this area were looking pretty bug eaten and windblown after recent weather, including this one! This species extends from redrock country of the Colorado Plateau westward across the transition area between the Great Basin and northern Mojave deserts. Date: 11 May 2016, 07:52.
