Ciri utamanya adalah embelan yang berbentuk kait di ujung perut/abdomennya. Warna mata majemuknya hijau. Tubuh berwarna kuning dengan loreng berwarna hitam. Foto ini diambil di Taman Nasional Laiwangi Wanggameti Sumba. English: Paragomphus tachyerges belong to the family Gomphidae or clubtail. Its main characteristic is the hook-shaped appendage on the tip of the abdomen. It have green compound eye. Yellow body with black stripes.
