Summary[edit] Description: English: Assortment of popular sticks exactly as sold in bundles in West African Sahelian markets, used for brushing teeth. Top: pale whitish straight sticks from the 'petite cola' Garcinia kola; then a green/brown bundle of Balanites aegyptiaca; then a bundle of smaller, light-colored irregular 'Kola' from the Cola acuminata; and bottom, brown sticks from the tree Acacia nilotica.
