Summary[edit] Description: scented shooting star, Dodecatheon redolens (=Primula fragrans), Lamb Camp, White Mountains, Inyo National Forest, elevation 3585 m (11760 ft). Also visible is toad lily (Montia chamissoi). I will stubbornly maintain the shooting stars (Dodecatheon) as a separate monophyletic genus until someone takes a closer look at other monophyletic groups in the rest of the primroses (Primula).
