Summary[edit] Description: English: A Horseshoe Whip Snake, olive-green with the signature 'horseshoe' neck band in white. Alentejo, Portugal, June 17, 2018. Snake on the trail, the Camino Historico, about 2 km north of Pego das Pias, north of Odemira. When the snake moved away it held its head very high, about 8" off the ground. Extremely graceful.
