Gloeocapsa magma (Bréb.) Ktz. - Cells (6 to 12 µ diameter) whose agglomeration constitutes the thallus (color the cells blue-green; the area immediately surrounding them carmine; the rest pink or reddish fawn) (after Cook). - Very common on the wet rocks of all Europe.
