Description: Gymnopilus bellulus (Peck) Murrill Image location: Salt Point State Park, Sonoma Co., California, USA Growing on well-decayed log in mixed woods. Caps up to 1.3 cm across. Could not get a spore print but appeared rusty under microscope in KOH. Spores ~ 4.3-5.1 X 3.0-3.2 microns, ellipsoid and coarsely verrucose.
