Fig. 2.—Engystoma carolinense Holbrook. Raleigh, N. C. Fig. 3.—Lithodytes latrans Cope. Helotes, Texas. Fig. 4—Scaphiopus holbrookii Harlan. Providence, R. I. Fig. 5—Scaphiopus couchii Baird.
