Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: The Reed Cormorant (Microcarbo africanus) is also known as the Long-tailed Cormorant. This photo was taken at Fish Eagle Lodge, Knysna Lagoon in Kenya. There are only two species of cormorant in Kenya - the Reed Cormorant and the White-breasted Cormorant (Phalacrocorax lucidus) so identification there is relatively straight forward. Date: 1 November 2013. Source: Own work. Author: DickDaniels (http://carolinabirds.org/).
