Description:

Summary[edit] Description: When someone mentions Bandhavgarh the first thing that comes to mind is tiger. And rightly so. This famous National Park in Central India (Madhya Pradesh) has the highest density of tigers and it is easily the most popular destination for tiger spotters and photographers. What is not widely publicised is the vast variety of birds and the ease of photographing them. During the recent trip to photograph tigers, I spotted this fine specimen standing still, very close to the dirt track. Date: 26 April 2009, 16:00. Source: Lesser Adjutant (Leptoptilos javanicus). Author: Koshy Koshy from Faridabad, Haryana, India.
