Summary[edit] Description: English: A species of Zebra cockroach (Genus Temnopteryx), probably an immature female, in a chalet in a conservation area. Date: 16 October 2010. Source: Own work. Author: JonRichfield. The genus Temnopteryx includes perhaps less than a dozen species of Zebra cockroaches, harmless, endemic to South Africa, mainly within the fynbos biome.
