Description:
Mothing Night 10/13/13 - this one was hard for us to ID. ID thanks to Paul Dennehy. Doesn't look anything like the Juniper-twig Geometer in the Peterson guide - to us. Nor the page on it at MPG: mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=6974 Paul wrote, "This is one of those that might be variable, but there really aren't any similar species to confuse it with. That silhouette combined with the straight PM line on all the wings and the hooked look to the FW apex is distinctive."
