Image of Ramaria rubrievanescens Marr & D. E. Stuntz 1974

Description:

Summary[edit] Description: English: Fruit body of the coral fungus Ramaria rubrievanescens Marr & D.E. Stuntz. Photographed in Salt Point State Park, Sonoma Co., California, USA. "Notes: Spore print on this one was a pale orange and the spores were ~ 10.0-12.0(13.0) X 4.8-5.3 microns. R. rubrievanescens seems to be a reasonable guess based on the fleeting pinkish tints on the branches and tips, the large stipe, the shape and dimensions of the spores as well as the rather subtle abaxial ridges on the spores.".
