Summary[edit] Description: A small metallic hoverfly with dust thorax lines is either Orthonevra or Riponnensia. This fly has a lazy S wing vein characteristic of Riponnensia rather than Orthonevra where this vein is partly recessive (See Orthonevra nobilis female www.flickr.com/photos/35142635@N05/4668374663/ for comparison).
