Summary[edit] Description: English: Corydoras aeneus, head and body are covered by bony plates. At the body two rows of overlapping bony plates are visible. Pigmentation occurs due to crystals which contain hypoxanthin among other substances. Deutsch: Corydoras aeneus, Kopf und Körper sind geschützt durch Knochenplatten.
